At the Shinbashi Sri Lanka festival, the SLBCJ organized a raffle ticket for the participants. Anyone who bought goods more than Jy 1,000 was given a raffle ticket free of charge. The SRILANKAN AIRLINES Tokyo office sponsored the tickets. For the raffle draw, HE Ambassador Rodney Perera, Manager Srilankan Airline Mr. Idunil, President SLBCJ Jagath Ramanyake, Event organizer / Vice president from Tokyo Udaya Athukorala, SLBCJ secretory Mr Chandika Perera, Vice President for Festival organizing Mr. Saman Priyankara, International director Mr Sajeev Rajaputra attend the ceremony and it was live telecasted.
