Sri Lanka festival was held for the 8th time at the Yoyogi Park in Shinjuku, Tokyo on 10th and 11th September 2011. Dancing troupes and famous young musicians arrived from Sri Lanka has colored the occasion.
Variety of stalls were presented at the premises with various items like Sri Lankan foods, jewellery , spices, clothing, tea products and other Sri Lankan related items. Large crowd was there including Sri Lankans who are living all around Japan, foreign nationalities and Japanese people also enjoyed the festival very much.
The Festival is organised by the Sri Lanka Embassy in Tokyo with the support of Japanese and Sri Lankan business organisations and well-wishers.
