20 Years of Global Collaboration.
We Are delighted to share a momentous occasion with you all – the 20th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Business Council of Japan! From its inception, I've had the honor of being a part of this incredible journey.
Prior to our grand anniversary celebration, we convened a significant meeting and workshop aiming to create the Global Federation of Sri Lanka Business Councils. This ambitious endeavor brought together esteemed guests, including Cabinet Minister Honorable Manusha Nanayakkara, State Minister for Investments Mr. Dilum Amunugama, and His Excellency the Ambassador Mr. E. Rodney M. Perera, who shared invaluable insights on our goals and vision.
Serving as the President of our council for two terms, we had the privilege of contributing to the growth of both Sri Lankan and Japanese businesses. We've dedicated ourselves to fostering strong partnerships and promoting Sri Lanka through various innovative programs.
As we mark two decades of success, we proposed an even grander vision – connecting all the Sri Lanka Business Councils worldwide into a single, powerful platform.
We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Sajeev Rajaputhra and Mr. Navin, representing Japan, have been chosen as the Secretary General and Honorable Treasurer, respectively, for the new Federation. Their leadership will undoubtedly drive our mission forward.
Following the workshop, we moved on to the heartwarming 20th Anniversary Ceremony, where we celebrated our achievements and looked ahead to an even brighter future.
