Through the collaboration of the Sri Lankan Airlines; Sri Lankan Embassy and SLBCJ had organized an event to promote Sri Lankan Traditional Dance to the Japanese people.
The famous Dance group “ Channa & Upuli” performed at the Minatoku Takanawa Kumin Hall on the 24th of September 2010. Over 500 People congregated to witness this extraordinary event.
Japanese Parliamentarians, Ministry officials, Sri Lanka Ambassador and consul generals were among the VIPs’.
50 residences from Tokyo Minato were given Free tickets for this event.
A Raffle draw was also sponsored by Sir Lankan Airlines / Mabrock tea / La-Fiesta
